The apartment was very clean, very acceptable. Host was very helpful, accommodating all our needs. The place was close beach, zoo, and international market. It's easy to get to and from the airport. Our stay made our trip the best!

This place is great for a family trip to Waikiki. Check-in was easy. We were greeted with welcome gifts and my favorite was a birthday cake with candles, as it was my 40th birthday. There were many beach amenities: towels, sand toys, boogie boards, chairs, mats, a small ice chest, and NOW a wagon.
Traveling with toddlers, we had a lot of extra junk to take with us and I was looking for a wagon to rent. I asked the host for recommendations and they suggested buying one for reimbursement. And that's what we did. This thing was a lifesaver with 3 toddlers.
Things to consider when booking... which is no fault to the listing or host, but with kids under 5 these are things I look for when reading reviews:
Location: It is Waikki, and as, listed in the description, it is loud. The AC units drowned out some noises, but it was still loud for toddlers.

The location was a big hit for this stay. Lots to do within walking distance and free parking nearby for everything that wasn’t. Thought the street and pool noose would bother us but everyone slept like a baby. A/C in the rooms kept us cool when we needed it. Plenty of beach stuff to use if you want and nearby 7-Eleven and grocery for the kitchen. Mahalo!

The property is at the very heart of Honolulu, close to the beach and many stores. The apartment itself has everything you need - the hosts were very thoughtful! I and my family greatly enjoyed our stay.

We had been stationed on Oahu from 2008-2012. We discussed returning in 2021 when our oldest graduated high school; however, due to Covid, we were unable to keep this plan, and went when our youngest graduated just this May. It felt like coming home. The condo was spacious enough for the four of us to spread out, close enough that we walked most everywhere, and knowing it had an assigned parking spot made the decision to rent a car financially sound. We had the best time while on island, will not wait another 12 years to return, and would definitely stay at the condo again, if it is available. Mahalo to Loan and Lewis!

This was our first experience with an air bnb. The place was just right for our family of 4 adults and 2 children. There was an extra futon for one of the children to lay on. Several amenities provided. Anything we could need, was there. I feel like we overpacked. Soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and so much more were available for our convenience. All basic cooking necessities were there. Just like being home. We were able to save so much money by staying in and cooking. This place was absolutely perfect for our little vacation. Our hosts were very attentive when we needed assistance.

Made my first direct booking on this Royal Aloha apartment owned by Loan and Lewis. My second time stay in this place. Super simple and easy booking process. So glad we could save some money as there was no booking or payment fees; and we received a special discount for being their return guests.
We enjoyed the place as much as we did last time. This is a rare find with great value. Beautiful interior decoration. Our kids were crazy about their bedroom, books, toys, and children educational games. They already asked when we would take them back to Waikiki and stay again in this apartment.

The location was great and the parking spot for our rental was right across the street which was super convenient. Everyone was super nice that we met in the building. Laundry was practically right next to the apartment, and the best part was that there were two actual separate bedrooms. It was very comfortable for our family of 5.

This was my first time using Airbnb and it was a great experience! Loan and Lewis were the perfect hosts and were very accommodating. The apartment was exactly like the photos and had everything we could possibly need. Check in and check out was super simple as well. My mom and I were very impressed. We can't wait to come back!

Our group of five adults enjoyed an amazing eight days at this condo near Waikiki Beach in Honolulu. The property manager, Loan, was very quick to respond to our calls when we lost power (due to an explosion of faulty electrical equipment across the street within minutes of our arrival), and when the spring on our door broke she sent a maintenance man who responded within an hour. The lanai was a great place to sit and watch people each day, and many places to eat, shop, and enjoy were within walking distance.

Great value! Free parking and secured property that requires a key to access building, parking, elevators, and apartment. We are a family of 5 (3 adults and 2 grade school kids). The space was good for us and the apartment was very functional. This is an old building kept in good condition and the apartment itself is well maintained.
Host is thoughtful in providing extra beach towels, coffee grinds, coffee filter, tea, sugar, some cooking spices, toiletries, first aid kit, waterproof pouches for cell phone. There was even a rice cooker and extra charging block/cable for iphone! Also provided sunscreen, boogie board and sand toys! Super convenient location! There’s a laundry room near the apartment (on same floor) and laundry detergent is included in the apartment!!!
